The African Institute for Christian Leadership and Theology offers three specialized 6-month certificate programs, each designed to meet the practical and spiritual needs of today’s Christian leaders and believers. All classes are delivered in a blended module of online and onsite lectures. Onsite lectures are held on Saturdays only, making our programs ideal for busy professionals, church workers and ministry volunteers.
1. Certificate in Biblical Studies
This is a foundational program that offers a comprehensive understanding of the Bible; designed to give students a solid grounding of the Bible: its structure, themes and application in daily life and ministry. It is aimed at equipping students with a solid foundation in Scripture, theology and biblical interpretation.

2. Certificate in Christian Leadership and Ministry
This program focuses primarily on developing leadership skills and ministry effectiveness. Tailored for those who are serving or preparing to serve in leadership within the church, this course focuses on leadership principles, ministry development and spiritual formation. It is aimed at training students in leadership principles, church administration and governance, ministerial ethics and effective ministry practices.

3. Certificate in Pastoral Care and Counselling

The program is aimed at preparing students to minister to the emotional, psychological and spiritual needs of individuals and families.
